The Trim 14 can be returned within 30 days of receipt of delivery. Email us at support@aberlite.com for return address and detail. 

Please be informed that we won’t refund the original shipping fee and your return shipping fee if the product is not defective. The product must be returned with its original box. Upon receiving the the Flex we will refund you the price of the product.

3. How do the two speed settings work?

First gear (6,460 RPM) is quieter and gentler, ideal for sensitive skin, fine hair, and detail work. Turbo gear (7,050 RPM) is faster and more powerful, built for thick or coarse hair and larger areas. Start on turbo for bulk trimming, then switch to first gear for detailing.

4. Can I use Trim 14 on wet hair or in the shower?

Yes, Trim 14 is IPX6 waterproof rated, so it's safe for wet use and rinses clean under the tap. For the closest, most even results, though, a dry trim is recommended. Don't submerge the device underwater.

5. How long does the battery last, and how long does it take to charge?

A full 2.5-hour charge delivers 3+ hours of cutting time on first gear or 2+ hours on turbo gear, with standby time of 4.5-5+ hours depending on speed setting.

6. How do I attach and remove the guard combs?

Align the guard comb with the blade housing and press down until it clicks into place. To remove, gently pull the comb away from the blade.

7. What's the storage case, and does it come included?

Yes. Every Trim 14 ships with a transparent, snap-shut storage case that has a dedicated slot for each of the 14 guards, plus space for the charging cable and adaptor — so you're never digging through a drawer for the right comb.

8. How do I lock the trimmer for travel?

Long-press the power button for 3 seconds while the device is on or off to lock it. On the Ultra model, the LCD will show a flashing red lock icon; on Base and Plus, a white light will flash. Press and hold again for 3 seconds to unlock.

9. How often should I clean the trimmer, and how do I do it?

Clean after every use — remove the guard, rinse the trimmer head under warm water, and let it air dry. For a deeper weekly clean, remove the blade head entirely and use mild soap or 70-75% isopropyl alcohol to clear out buildup.
