I actually prefer this over oil. Having a long beard, some oil tends to be too greasy. This isn’t greasy at all. I will definitely purchase this product again.

Sandalwood Beard Spray

The two sandalwood 4 ounces spray bottles I purchased do not have the sandalwood aroma that the Aberlite 2-ounce bottle that I purchased some time ago has. Although I initially used the Aberlite spray for an occasional heat protectant, comments from family and co-workers regarding the sandalwood aroma prompted me to use the Aberlite spray as part of my normal beard oil product care - even when not using the occasional heated beard straightener. How disappointing that my recent two bottle 4 ounces spray contain no aroma at all. Maybe during the product mix somehow sandalwood was omitted from a batch? Since the aroma is nonexistent, could the chemistry mix of these two bottles also mean the heat protective quality is lacking as well? I have been growing my beard for too many decades to take a risk on using the new (possibly compromised) purchased product as a heat protectant. Too bad, my initial bottle of Aberlite spray had the competition beat in terms of quality and aroma. I hate to sound somewhat vain, but the sandalwood scent was the deciding factor for me wanting to switch entirely over to Aberlite products. I suggest Aberlite check on the batch that my purchase came from, as this may be a wider-spread concern for other customers. Especially new customers as they would not have a comparison to previous Aberlite product as I did. FYI the one-star rating was for just the recent purchase. The previous bottle was a 5-star rating. Please advise me on how to return the two scent-less bottles? Thank you.

I feel as if this product definitely helps protect my beard from the heat when straightening! The heat is pretty intense when used on a short beard so the protector is a must! Great addition!
