4 reasons why Touch 2 is the perfect gift for bald guys

I have been shaving my head since the mid-1990’s and have always used a razor starting with double and triple blade types and finally converting over to the ‘Head Blade’. Honestly, I had no complaints except for the amount of time it took… though it was a sort of “zen” experience. Decided to give the Touch2 try because I was familiar with Aberlite’s product, since I own their Pro Beard Straightener. I am NOT disappointed. The Touch 2 is well-made, feels ergonomically perfect in my hand and gives a spectacularly smooth shave in no time. I was actually quite surprised that my head felt as smooth as when I blade shave. My wife joked that it was a smooth and slick as a bowling ball. It is literally ‘unbelievable’. I was so impressed by the Touch 2 that I ordered one for my baldy son as a Christmas gift. I give the Touch 2 a 5 out of 5 (but actually it’s a 10 out of 10)! Great job Aberlite!! more

I wanted to find him something safer and easier to use, and this turned out to be a great choice… . His Feedback: He was initially skeptical that an electric shaver could get as close as a blade, but he was really impressed. He says it gets “barbershop smooth” without the risk of cutting himself. The foil design is much gentler on his scalp than the rotary shavers he has tried in the past, and he hasn’t had any razor bumps since switching. Ergonomics: He specifically mentioned that he likes the shape of the handle. It’s compact and designed in a way that makes it easy for him to reach the back of his head without having to twist his arm into uncomfortable positions. Important Note: I did warn him based on the description that this is a “finishing tool,” not a clipper. He uses his standard trimmers to knock the hair down to stubble first, and then uses this to get that smooth, bald finish. As long as you follow that step, it works perfectly. Verdict: If you have a relative who shaves their head and wants a smoother, safer routine, this is a fantastic gift. My uncle uses it every other day now. more

marcuswebb As a man with pattern balding, a thick beard, and self respect…. I do a lot of grooming. Rather than look like Friar Kratos I shave, buzz, and trim. Where I’ve had some grooming trouble is avoiding that awful little island of hair that can show up at the forehead… and with getting a nice shave around the neck. This really does the trick without adding the nicks my Double Edge can cause and without the irritation cartridge razors cause me. The razor comes with a rather mid 2010s Apple like package that should make this a nice gift. The package includes the razor, a cleaning brush, charging cable and brick, and a bag. The controls are easy to use and the grip is very comfortable. It’s a good size for travel and while I’m not putting u double edge down for standard shaving I think I’ll be able to use this and a single blade cartridge razor for a shave that is about as close without hating to deal with TSA’s dislike of free floating razor blades. more
